Roster: 8:6
Duration: 12-month contract (with potential for extension)

About the Role As a Training Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in building workforce capability by delivering high-quality training and assessment to frontline operational personnel. You'll collaborate with both the Capability Development team and site-based mining stakeholders to ensure operational readiness, support multiskilling initiatives, and foster a strong safety culture across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess Heavy Mobile Equipment training in Loader, Dozer, Grader, Excavator, and (preferably) Frontrunner AHS.
  • Provide one-on-one, classroom, infield, or group-based training in alignment with the agreed training schedule.
  • Record attendance and maintain accurate training records using CD systems and associated processes.
  • Ensure training materials and records are completed and submitted in line with quality and compliance standards.
  • Attend prestart meetings and travel to and from site via onsite buses in coordination with operational teams.
  • Contribute to a positive training culture that supports multiskilling across operational roles.
  • Assist leaders in preparing personnel for safe and effective transition into multiskilled roles.
  • Model strong safety leadership, supporting a zero-harm approach and promoting a safety-first culture.

About You
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated experience training and assessing heavy mobile equipment operators.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Enthusiasm for workforce capability development and operational excellence.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering high-impact training outcomes.
