Given the nature of the work, extensive experience across mining studies is essential.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and delivering major mining studies, including:
- Lead and deliver a Pre-Feasibility Study and subsequent Feasibility Study
- Ensure all study deliverables meet defined study readiness, assurance and stage-gate requirements
- Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary internal and external stakeholders, including technical SMEs, consultants and site teams
- Develop and manage the Study Work Plan, including schedule, budget, risk register and assurance documentation
- Oversee preparation of study materials for Gate Reviews and executive-level decision forums
- Support senior management decision-making through clear, concise presentation of options, risks and recommendations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 15+ years’ experience in the mining industry
- Demonstrated experience leading mining studies, with client side organisations, EPCM or EPC project environments
- Background in gold projects preferred, mineral processing experience essential.
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary study teams across complex technical scopes
