An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Structural Geologist to join a technical team supporting major iron ore operations. Reporting to the Lead Structural Geologist, you will play a key role in developing structural models, identifying geological risks, and supporting geotechnical design and safe production. This is a Perth-based position with regular site engagement, working closely with structural and geotechnical teams across multiple operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine structural geological models using drillhole, mapping and geophysical datasets
  • Deliver structural interpretations to support geotechnical analysis and design
  • Conduct open pit structural mapping, data collection and reconciliation
  • Interpret photogrammetry and televiewer datasets
  • Identify and communicate structural risks impacting mining operations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve structural and geotechnical understanding
About You
  • Degree in Geology, Structural Geology or related discipline
  • Experience in iron ore structural geology
  • Background in open pit structural mapping, geological modelling and data analysis
  • Experience with 3D modelling software (e.g. Vulcan) and ArcGIS
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
