Structural Designer 

Contract Length: 12 months 

Role Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and procedures
• Communicate with the project team, provide updates, raise issues and attend team meetings
• Deliver and contribute to practical solutions
• Ensure project time and cost are met - monitor effectiveness of designs, scheduling of work, resource requirements and review compliance with project execution plan (schedule) and client expectations

• Minimum 3+ years relevant experience working on mining and minerals projects
• Minimum 5+ years if Senior
• Relevant Diploma or Associate Degree advantageous
• Exposure to civil design advantageous
• Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent attitude, team focus and commitment towards safety
• Proficiency in MicroStation design software highly desirable
• Innovative thinker with the ability to work autonomously to deadlines
