SMP Project Engineer
About the Role:
Work closely with site teams to oversee SMP and electrical commissioning works on substation construction. Provide technical guidance from civil foundations through to installation and commissioning.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical engineering
- SMP or commissioning experience within contracting environment
- Strong site-based technical and coordination skills
- Ability to manage subcontractors and interface with design teams
- Strong communication and safety focus
- Provide on-site engineering support
- Oversee substation civil and structural works
- Manage installation and commissioning activities
- Ensure compliance and technical standards
- Liaise with site and project stakeholders
- 8:6 FIFO roster
- Exposure to major substation scope
- Long-term project opportunity
- Collaborative site environment
