Senior Track Engineer
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager in the Sustaining Capital team, the Senior Track Engineer will deliver design and technical input into major upgrades and renewals across a heavy haul rail network. The role includes feasibility study support, design coordination, and execution support for site delivery.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering – Civil preferred
- 8+ years in track engineering design
- Rail design, construction & maintenance experience
- Heavy haul or mining rail exposure
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Develop and review track design packages
- Support feasibility and pre-feasibility studies
- Provide input into scope development
- Oversee construction and renewal works
- Collaborate with delivery and site teams
- Manage priorities across multiple work banks
- Long-term contract opportunity
