About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Protection Engineer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis at our Perth head office.

In this role, you will utilise your specialist expertise to:
- Develop and apply advanced engineering knowledge in the delivery of competitive designs, settings, estimating, project/contract management, and consulting services.
- Provide high-level technical solutions for power system protection and automatic control.

About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, recognised by Engineers Australia for professional engineer status.
- Extensive knowledge of transmission and distribution protection settings, design, automatic control, and statistical metering systems, as well as estimating processes.
- Strong understanding of power system primary and secondary facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering standards, regulations, technical rules, and procedures applicable to protection schemes.
- Awareness of current technological advancements in protection, automatic control, and statistical metering.
- 8–10 years of experience in a power engineering role (ideally within networks), with at least 3–5 years in a protection-related role.
- Experience with specification and tender management procedures and practices (desirable).
