Senior Project Materials Specialist
Our Tier 1 Mining client is seeking a skilled Senior Project Materials Specialist to support large-scale capital projects across WA. This role is critical in managing end-to-end materials planning, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement materials management plans for major project scopes.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams to track materials from sourcing to delivery.
- Manage supply chain risks, vendor performance, and logistics constraints.
- Oversee inventory control and warehousing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
About You
- 8+ years in materials or supply chain roles on large capital Australian mining projects.
- Strong ERP/MRP system experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Confident working across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
