We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer from a mineral processing plant background to j in delivering the concept design of a pilot plant that will demonstrate both technical and commercial readiness within decarbonisation.
This role is ideally suited to someone who has spent a significant part of their career working on mineral processing plants through early study phases(Concept, Scoping, Pre-Feasibility), and who enjoys working at the forefront of technology development and decarbonisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Study Manager to deliver the concept design of a pilot plant
- Lead development of all technical study deliverables, including:
- Track and report cost and schedule performance across study phases
- Lead technical and commercial risk assessments appropriate to project phase, including mitigation strategy development
- Manage and coordinate internal and external technical resources to deliver study scope
- Develop and lead testing and pilot programs to close technical capability gaps
- Coordinate third-party and functional design reviews as required
About You
You are a technically strong engineer with deep experience in mineral processing plant design, particularly through early-stage studies. You are comfortable working with ambiguity, independently driving scope, and collaborating across disciplines to progress emerging technologies.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years in mineral processing plant design is highly desirable
- Strong experience delivering Concept to Pre-Feasibility studies
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Process)
- Multidisciplinary engineering coordination
- Project and Study Engineering
