An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project / Package Engineer to support the delivery of wind turbine installation packages across the full project lifecycle. Working closely with the Wind Installation Package Manager, this role plays a key part in engineering coordination, procurement, and installation activities from early planning through to construction and commissioning.
This position suits an engineer with strong technical foundations, commercial awareness, and a genuine interest in renewable energy and emerging installation technologies.

Location: Perth based until May then 2:1 roster to Pilbara


Key Responsibilities
  • Support supplier prequalification, tender evaluations, and contract negotiations in line with project schedules and budgets
  • Assist with the technical and commercial procurement of wind turbine installation equipment, including self-erecting systems and installation cranes
  • Support tendering and management of wind turbine installation contracts through to on-site execution
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, project, supplier, and contractor teams to ensure compliance with technical and project requirements
  • Track and report on manufacturing progress, installation activities, quality outcomes, and delivery milestones
  • Contribute to the development of project deliverables to improve design maturity, schedule certainty, and cost definition
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience across energy and/or large-scale infrastructure projects, with wind installation experience highly regarded
  • Experience supporting package or project engineering for major equipment and/or EPC contracts
  • Understanding of wind turbine technology, installation methods, and interface management
  • Strong commercial awareness with knowledge of procurement and contract management principles
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement, technical assessment, and supplier coordination skills
