Our client is seeking experienced Senior Project Engineers
to join their dynamic Perth-based projects team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to exciting mining projects and work within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
In this role, you will work closely with both the engineering team and broader project stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive project plans. Your focus will include creating project execution plans, detailed estimates, schedules, and ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project execution strategies
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives
- Manage and monitor project scope, timelines, and cost
- Support procurement and estimating functions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in the mining industry, particularly with process plant and equipment
- Strong contract management and commercial acumen
- Proven problem-solving, analytical, and organisational abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Background in engineering consulting and EPC/EPCM projects
- Experience in change and design management processes
