Senior Planner
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a high-performing project team working across major resource and infrastructure developments.
Based in Perth with site travel as required, this role plays a critical part in delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed and master project schedules
- Perform critical path analysis, “what-if” scenarios, and schedule health checks
- Integrate contractor schedules into the master program
- Implement Earned Value Management and monitor CPI/SPI trends
- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly progress reports
- Participate in schedule workshops, risk reviews, and capital planning processes
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure scope clarity and execution readiness
About You:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in project planning, including client-side exposure across full project life cycles
- Strong background in iron ore operations, shutdown planning, and operational workflows
- Proficient in Primavera P6, SAP, Power BI, and MS Office Suite
- Skilled in schedule integration, productivity analysis, and contractor coordination
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or project controls (desirable)
