My client is a leading consultancy team, working on a wide array of projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors, supporting both new developments and existing asset operations. This 12-month contract role offers the flexibility of working from either Brisbane or Melbourne, with hybrid working options to support work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Apply recognised engineering principles for onshore pipeline design
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, environmental regulations, and quality systems
- Support proposal development with cost and schedule estimates
- Plan and deliver pipeline design activities in line with project schedules
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior engineers
- Identify and manage delivery risks, supporting mitigation and change strategies
Requirements:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering
- RPEQ registration (or ability to obtain)
- Proven experience in CS pipeline design and construction to AS2885
- Strong knowledge of HDPE gas and water network design and APGA Code of Practice
- Experience in material selection, fracture control, and line pipe specification
- Familiarity with pipeline construction support, design reviews, and risk assessments
