Our team partners closely with mine owners and operators to deliver practical, buildable solutions across processing plants and materials handling systems. With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are expanding their team to support continued growth.
This role will see you working across multiple sustaining capital projects from concept through to execution support. You will have the ability to work autonomously and run projects liaising with clients and internal engineering and drafting teams ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technically diverse brownfields work and wants exposure to a variety of commodities and processing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design calculations
- Prepare technical reports
- Contribute to internal and external meetings
- Reporting on progress
- Ensure work is completed to statutory and regulatory requirements
- Provide advice during study, design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
- Support junior personnel within the engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have
- Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer
- 8+ years’ experience in mining or minerals processing projects
- Strong experience in brownfields and sustaining capital environments
- Exposure to gold, lithium or iron ore processing plants highly regarded
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong stakeholder communication and client-facing capability
- Practical, solutions-focused mindset with a collaborative approach
