  • Provide technical input and engineering judgement across a wide variety of mining and processing infrastructure.
  • Support concept, prefeasibility, and feasibility study stages as well as execution and commissioning activities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal disciplines, site personnel, and external stakeholders to progress project objectives.
  • Develop scopes of work, technical documentation, and engineering reports with a focus on cost-effective and practical solutions.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables comply with relevant standards, safety requirements, and project quality expectations.
  • Oversee and monitor engineering packages across multiple projects simultaneously, managing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, constructability assessments, and reliability studies.

Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (RPEQ or CPEng accreditation is highly advantageous).
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, ideally within consulting, EPCM, or project engineering environments in the mining/resources sector.
  • Strong background in sustaining capital, brownfield modifications, or plant upgrade projects.
  • Exposure to a broad range of commodities such as iron ore, coal, base metals, lithium, gold, or other resource operations is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver practical, efficient, and safe engineering solutions in operational mine or processing environments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience managing multiple work scopes of varying size and complexity, maintaining quality and schedule across concurrent projects.
