Job Title:Senior Mechanical Engineer
 
Join the team working on a major iron ore project from early study phase. Joining the billion dollar plus project you will be predominately focused on materials handling and a major overland conveyor.

You will contribute to the project through:

• Design calculations
• Prepare technical reports
• Contribute to internal and external meetings
• Reporting on progress
• Ensure work is completed to statutory and regulatory requirements
• Provide advice during study, design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• General project support for other packages.
• Support junior personnel within the engineering team.

• Bachelor of Mechanical engineering
• Previous experience within materials handling with the resource sector
• Strong conveyor design experience
• Results driven but safety cautious mentality
• Respectful and clear communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team
• Ability to efficiently utilise internal and external stakeholders’ time
• Previous experience within a similar role
