Our client provides multi-discipline engineering and design services to the mineral processing industry. They are looking for a capable and experienced mechanical designer to join their team on a permanent basis.
AutoDesk software (AutoCAD, Plant3D and Advanced Steel) is an essential requirement for the position. Join a close-knit collaborative team in a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing 3D models and detailed engineering drawings from concept through to detailed design
- Provide technical input and design support
- Reviewing drawings for accuracy and compliance with client standards
- Supporting project delivery by managing and adhering to timelines and design efficiency
Skills and Experience:
- Must be proficient with AutoDesk software including AutoCAD, Plant3D and Advanced Steel
- Experience in mechanical design for mineral processing projects
- Lithium, gold and rare earths experience will be highly regarded
- Minimum 10+ years in a similar role, design consultancy environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Working rights in Australia is a requirement for the position.
