Position Title:  Senior Mechanical Designer

About the Role

Work with an engineering consultancy within their sustaining capital team working across various projects for mining clients. You will join an existing team consisting of 6 other mechanical designers, and contribute to the delivery of mechanical and some piping design
Long-term contract, initial 12 months with view for extension. Perth CBD office with end-of-trip facilities.
 
Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the design manager you will coordinate with the local and offshore teams
• 3D design for conveyors, rock breakers, chutes, tailings facilities, slurry systems, MEM workshops, piping and water systems
• Use MicroStation 3D for design and modelling
• Liaise with engineers
• Ensure compliance to client standards
• Support project delivery milestones

• 10+ years in mechanical design with some piping exposure
• Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation software
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant standards
