Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Role Overview

• Member of the integrated commissioning team
• Site-based roster: 2 weeks on / 1 week off, 12-hour shifts
• 5–10+ years’ relevant industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

• Power Generation systems
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Grid Export Generation (GEG)
• Diesel Emergency Generation (DEG)
• Power Management Systems (PMS)
• HV & LV power, protection, and distribution systems
• HV & LV motors, motor protection, and motor control
• General lighting and small power systems
• Drafting, reviewing, and approving Management of Change (MoC) documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications
• LV & HV switchboard testing, including protection relay testing, secondary injection testing, and interlock verification
• Testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and fault investigation of LV & HV primary and secondary equipment
• Coordination and direction of specialist vendors for power generation systems
• Cross-discipline interfacing within the integrated commissioning team
• White Card, valid driver’s license, and prior FIFO/remote site experience

• Permit to Work and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) systems
• Exposure to HV switching operations
