Senior Electrical Engineer 

Location: Perth 
Contract Length: 12 months

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare electrical and instrumentation designs and calculations in accordance with relevant Client and Australian Standards
• Design of LV and MV systems, MCCs, switchrooms, switchgear, and associated infrastructure
• Exposure to configuration and commissioning of electrical and control systems
• Develop specifications and technical documentation
• Lead and manage electrical, instrumentation, and controls design within projects
• Collaborate with designers to develop plant element designs
• Support project delivery through scheduling, cost control, and procurement
• Produce technical engineering documentation as part of project deliverables
• Participate in site assignments for construction, commissioning, or operational support
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in mineral processing within design and construction environments
• Proficiency in ETAP software is advantageous
• Solid understanding of power systems and LV/MV design
• Exposure to functional safety and hazardous area requirements in mining environments
• Familiarity with instrumentation, control systems, and communications for operational plants
• Experience across various project phases (Studies, Engineering & Construction, Commissioning)
• In-depth knowledge of relevant Australian and industry standards
