Senior Cost Controller

Contract Length: 12 months

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role within the resources, renewable energy, product development, or engineering sectors.
• Minimum 6 years’ project controls experience in a Research & Development environment, ideally within engineering, technology, or industrial projects.
• Proven ability to establish, manage, and report on cost components within R&D environments, including the development and oversight of progress reporting methodologies.
• Strong understanding of project control principles, processes, and techniques, including transitioning from estimate to project budget, and delivering accurate cost and cash flow forecasting and analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency with project cost control systems, finance systems, and reporting applications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across project and corporate teams.
• Experience with Omega PIMS cost system (desirable).
• High-level computer literacy, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and the broader MS Office suite.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Finance.
• Project management or internationally recognised project controls certification.
