Senior Construction Manager
About the role
Lead and coordinate a construction team to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant major mining projects. Manage contractors and vendors to ensure cost, schedule, quality, and HSE requirements are met, with seamless asset handover to operations.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma in Construction Management (preferred)
- 20+ years in construction; 10+ as manager
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability
- Knowledge of WHS Act 2020 and Mines Regulations 2022
- Experience with EPC, EPCM, D&C, TK contracts
- Lead construction teams and contractors on site
- Oversee budget, schedule, and project delivery
- Enforce HSE compliance and safe work practices
- Review plans, conduct inspections, enforce quality
- Manage risk and implement mitigation strategies
- Oversee commissioning and asset handover
