Renewable Energy Innovation Engineer

• Assess current solar PV facility procurement and construction processes and prioritise areas for improvement/cost reduction.
• Identify and Assess available technologies on the market to support efficiency improvement and cost reduction targets.
• Provide preliminary reports recommending any technologies to progress to in-field trials, covering proposed scope, schedule, budget, risks, mitigations and KPI’s for the trial.
• Incorporate trial into existing project estimate templates and compare benefits/risks.
• Manage commercial negotiations with proposed technology providers.
• Oversee delivery and reporting for the trials, within existing solar PV installation projects.
• Manage all reporting requirements (internally and with any related government entities etc).

• Engineering Degree or related.
• Demonstrated experience and capability in project delivery and package management etc.
• Experience in the delivery of solar PV projects or other renewable energy projects advantageous but not strictly necessary.
• Solid understanding of related disciples, eg civil earthworks, Mechanical design & installation and Electrical design and installation.
