Location: Victoria
Duration of Contract: 12 Months
Key Accountabilities:
- Demonstrates full commitment to health and safety, providing strong safety leadership to the project team.
- Leads and mentors a multi-disciplinary, multi-location project team, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and training needs.
- Establishes clear project objectives, including scope, schedule, productivity, and budget targets.
- Ensures compliance with required project methodologies, processes, tools, and governance standards.
- Oversees project execution by applying expertise in engineering, procurement, quality control, and associated disciplines.
- Manages customer contracts, ensuring effective oversight and successful project delivery.
- Monitors project costs, schedules, and design deliverables, using analytical skills to forecast trends and maintain targeted gross margins.
- Ensures effective change control and maintains strong understanding of contract terms, cash flow, and financial reporting requirements.
- 15+ years of project management experience.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience in smelting, mining, and/or materials handling is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages of execution.
- Strong understanding of field-related systems, processes, and tools.
- Based in (or willing to relocate to) Portland, VIC or surrounding areas.
