Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to project teams to ensure safe delivery in line with scope, schedule, and budget
- Support multiple contractors and projects concurrently across site
- Manage technical inputs during project development phases, including studies and design
- Liaise with Area Managers, Superintendents, Supervisors, Project Managers, contractors, and key stakeholders
- Participate in project planning, risk assessments, and project kick-off meetings
- Facilitate weekly team meetings
- Contribute to critical control monitoring, infrastructure assessments, and team-based risk assessments
- Prepare and manage commissioning plans through to approval
- Coach teams and conduct field leadership activities
- Participate in incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Ensure compliance with Business Management System (BMS) requirements
- Develop and implement at least one safety initiative per quarter
- Manage Technical Queries (TQs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and project close-out documentation
- Coordinate infrastructure handovers to relevant stakeholders following commissioning
- Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams within the resources sector
- Proven ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects to completion within schedule and quality requirements
- Strong understanding of construction practices, particularly SMP scopes
- Sound knowledge of Business Management Systems
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and visible safety leadership
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example and build positive working relationships
