Principal / Lead Mechanical Engineers

This role is suited to professionals with a strong background in minerals processing and plant design, with expertise across commodities such as gold, lithium, copper, and nickel.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering design and coordination for mineral processing plant projects.
• Provide technical oversight, guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including suppliers and other engineering disciplines.
• Review and approve mechanical engineering deliverables.
• Support project delivery through all phases – from concept to commissioning.

• Proven experience as a Principal or Lead Mechanical Engineer in the resources or minerals sector.
• Strong expertise in plant design for gold, lithium, copper, or nickel operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate complex engineering scopes.
• In-depth knowledge of Australian engineering standards.
