Principal Port and Marine Engineer
About the Role:
Lead feasibility, planning, and design studies for marine and port infrastructure projects. Oversee consultants, manage technical risks, and deliver design solutions aligned with international standards and project objectives.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil, Structural, or Coastal Engineering
- Proven port/marine design and delivery experience
- Strong understanding of AUS/INTL standards
- Stakeholder and consultant management skills
- Excellent technical writing and communication
- Deliver feasibility and design studies
- Lead and coordinate consultants and teams
- Assess and optimise port infrastructure options
- Manage marine engineering risks across lifecycle
- Review technical designs and performance specs
- Support innovation and AI initiatives
- Conduct site assessments and investigations
