Position Title : Network Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead Mining Network Projects:  Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver infrastructure projects and minor works tailored to mining operations.
• Transmission Network Innovation:  Design and commission network technologies across corporate, production, and process control domains, ensuring optimal connectivity and reliability.
• Documentation Mastery:  Develop high-quality technical requirements, detailed designs, and robust change management plans, including implementation, rollback, and testing strategies.
• Seamless Transitions:  Transition assets and solutions to support teams to ensure long-term system stability and performance.
• Project Excellence:  Manage multiple work packages independently, ensuring all deliverables meet timelines and high standards.

• Mining Experience:  Previous experience in mining environments is essential to ensure you can hit the ground running in this role.
• Cisco Expertise:   CCNP  certification or equivalent experience in the design, implementation, and security of  IP networks.
• Protocol Proficiency:  Strong understanding of  Layer 2 and Layer 3  protocols such as  REP, STP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Design Skills:  Proven ability to produce detailed design documentation, implementation plans, test plans, and rollback strategies.
• Firewall Savvy:  Hands-on experience with  Cisco Firewalls, including creating and managing policies and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Change Management Excellence:  Expertise in designing and executing comprehensive change processes.
• Project Management:  Confidence in managing multiple projects and priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
