Roster: 2:2 FIFO
Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities
- Collect process plant samples in accordance with site procedures and safety standards
- Process metallurgical samples to ensure accuracy and representativity
- Perform wet sieving and dry sieving to required specifications
- Conduct representative sample splitting using approved methodologies
- Carry out filter pressing of slurry samples
- Undertake pulverising and milling of samples for laboratory analysis
- Maintain sample integrity and traceability throughout all stages of preparation
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with site procedures
- Maintain laboratory equipment and report any faults or maintenance requirements
- Accurately record and report results in line with operational requirements
- Experience in metallurgical laboratory or process plant sample preparation
- Strong understanding of sample representativity and QA/QC principles
- Hands-on experience with wet and dry sieving techniques
- Experience operating laboratory equipment including mills, pulverisers, and filter presses
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
