About the Role
Deliver the mechanical scope on a large-scale solar project, beginning with 4–6 weeks in Perth before moving onsite. Report to the Senior Project Engineer and oversee day-to-day mechanical field engineering, QA, contractor coordination and schedule control.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical engineering degree
- 5+ yrs site engineering exp
- Bulk earthworks & structures exp
- Strong QA/QC & standards knowledge
- Interface & contractor coordination
- Lead safety and field compliance
- Manage mechanical ITPs and QA
- Coordinate survey, RFIs and drawings
- Run look-aheads and progress tracking
- Liaise with contractors and interfaces
- Drive commissioning readiness tasks
- Maintain reports and documentation
Owner’s team environment delivering a major solar construction project in the Pilbara. Work across mechanical scopes including foundations, drainage, roads and tracker structures.
