About the Role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join a site-based mobile maintenance team supporting a large and diverse operational fleet in the Pilbara. This role is critical to ensuring maintenance activities are effectively planned, scheduled, and resourced to maximise equipment availability and operational performance.
Working closely with maintenance execution teams, supervisors, and key stakeholders, you will deliver high-quality planning outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving environment. This position suits a capable planner with strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ambition to progress into future leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain short- and long-term maintenance plans for mobile plant and equipment
  • Create and manage work orders, job plans, and schedules using SAP
  • Coordinate labour, materials, tooling, parts, and equipment to support planned maintenance activities
  • Support breakdown planning and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimise equipment uptime and fleet performance
  • Ensure all planning activities comply with safety, operational, and statutory requirements
  • Assist with shutdowns, major maintenance campaigns, and statutory inspections
  • Analyse repeat failures and support reliability improvement strategies
About You
  • Extensive experience in maintenance planning within mining or heavy industry
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP (essential)
  • Proven experience in mobile maintenance and fleet planning (critical)
  • Highly adaptable and effective in dynamic site-based environments
  • Strong problem-solving ability with excellent organisational skills
  • Clear and confident communicator with a collaborative working style
  • 6–10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated potential for leadership and continuous improvement
