Position Title:
Lead Electrical Engineer
About the Role:
Lead and coordinate the engineering team delivering electrical, instrumentation, and control system upgrades on a major brownfields project. Work across design, procurement, and site execution, ensuring compliance, quality, and safety throughout all project phases.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience delivering SMPEI/CSMPEI projects
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Understanding of QA/QC and statutory compliance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar tools
- Lead and manage project engineering team
- Oversee design, work packs, and documentation
- Monitor quality and electrical compliance
- Manage project schedules and reporting
- Coordinate resources, materials, and vendors
- Long-term contract through project completion
- 8:6 FIFO roster with stability and site support
- Exposure to major brownfields infrastructure works
- Collaborative team culture
