Lead Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Engineering Lead, taking designs from concept, into completed engineering deliverables.
2. Being a key technical leader on projects and within the organisation as a whole, dedicated to delivering exceptional value to clients through the provision of high-quality solutions that align with project objectives and requirements.
3. Providing technical leadership and advice to a growing team of electrical/controls engineers and to the wider team.
4. Support and collaborate with other disciplines and designers to develop designs for a wide range of plant and infrastructure.

1. Tertiary qualification in Engineering
2. 8+ years of multidiscipline Engineering experience in the mining and resources sector.
3. Proven experience as a design electrical engineer (LV, HV, VSD’s, Instrumentation etc) able to produce calculations and design documentation 
4. Practical experience working in construction, commissioning and/or operations in the bulk materials and minerals processing industries
5. Exposure to and knowledge of Control Systems in SCADA, PLC and RTU Platforms.
6. Good presentation and communication skills at all levels.
7. Awareness and collaboration across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process controls
