Position Title -  Lead Civil Designer

About the Role

We are working with an engineering consultancy based in Perth who are looking for a lead civil designer to join their team. You will have expertise in 12D design across WA mining projects, particularly with earthworks and associated mine infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to lead an existing team of civil designers who are competent and work collaboratively.
 
Responsibilities

• Lead civil design for a variety of mining projects
• Deliver bulk earthworks, access roads and drainage designs
• Prepare and review drawings and reports
• Support design reviews and compliance checks
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders

• 15+ years’ mining sector experience
• Proven 12D civil design proficiency
• Roads and earthworks design expertise
• Strong coordination and communication skills

• Long-term 12+ month ongoing contract
• Exposure to tier-1 mining clients’ projects
• Collaborative project team environment
