Lead Civil Designer
About the Role
Take ownership of civil design delivery for greenfield and brownfield mining projects. Based in Perth, this role supports project teams with technical expertise and coordination across infrastructure design.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- 15+ years’ mining sector experience
- Proven 12D civil design proficiency
- Roads and earthworks design expertise
- Familiar with BHP, Rio Tinto, FMG systems
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Lead civil design for mining projects
- Deliver access roads and drainage designs
- Prepare and review drawings and reports
- Support design reviews and compliance checks
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders
- Secure 12+ month ongoing contract
- Office-based with occasional site travel
- Exposure to tier-1 mining projects
- Collaborative project team environment
- Opportunity to lead critical design scope
