Responsibilities:

• Prepare samples and perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal technical and operational performance of the mine laboratory
• Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to safety and cost-efficiency
• Uphold rigorous laboratory quality control standards to preserve sample integrity and minimize contamination
• Verify the accuracy of all reported laboratory data, and promptly report any equipment issues, malfunctions, or operational anomalies for further investigation
• Stay well-informed of all laboratory testing methods and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Organize and maintain sample labeling and storage in a clean, orderly, and systematic manner

• Proven experience in a sample preparation laboratory environment
• Previous experience in the mining sector, preferably in iron ore (advantageous)
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems, particularly CCLAS or Control Track
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in standard software
• Possession of a current Manual C Class Driver’s License
• Valid White Card (mandatory)
