Responsibilities:
- Prepare samples and perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal technical and operational performance of the mine laboratory
- Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to safety and cost-efficiency
- Uphold rigorous laboratory quality control standards to preserve sample integrity and minimize contamination
- Verify the accuracy of all reported laboratory data, and promptly report any equipment issues, malfunctions, or operational anomalies for further investigation
- Stay well-informed of all laboratory testing methods and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Organize and maintain sample labeling and storage in a clean, orderly, and systematic manner
- Proven experience in a sample preparation laboratory environment
- Previous experience in the mining sector, preferably in iron ore (advantageous)
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems, particularly CCLAS or Control Track
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in standard software
- Possession of a current Manual C Class Driver’s License
- Valid White Card (mandatory)
