About the role
- Join our clients' HME Engineering Team for a 12 month duration.
- As the HME Advisor Fleet Specifications, you will be responsible for driving the standardisation of Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) by developing consistent specification standards that align with the mine plan, operational needs, site requirements, and relevant industry and safety standards.
- These specifications ensure that the clients' mobile equipment is "operationally ready" upon deployment.
- Location: near Perth airport
- Reporting to the HME Principal of Maintenance Planning and Engineering, accountabilities of the role include but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Standardisation & Compliance
- Develop, update, and manage HME fleet purchasing specifications in collaboration with the Fleet Specifications team and relevant subject matter experts.
- Review and edit all documentation to ensure alignment with Iron Ore WA corporate standards.
- Ensure documentation is compliant, accessible, and governed by appropriate control measures.
- Monitor and record changes to specifications, maintaining the security, accuracy, and statutory requirements such as DEMIRS and other critical documents.

Experience/Requirements
- A commitment to the safety as well as a passion for achieving excellence in your area of accountability
- Strong stakeholder engagement and highly effective communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Pro (preferable)
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong information management skills.
