About the Role
Our Tier 1 client is seeking a motivated Environmental & Tenement Compliance Officer to join their team, reporting to the Head of Approvals & Compliance. This role will play a key part in supporting the management of our tenement portfolio, environmental compliance processes, and ensuring adherence to the Mining Act and associated regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain our client's tenement portfolio, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation.
• Monitor land disturbance and rehabilitation, with accurate record keeping in GIS land disturbance models.
• Support the preparation and submission of annual MRF reporting.
• Coordinate Program of Work (PoW) applications through to close-out, ensuring full compliance.
• Oversee external Tenement Management services to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
• Support ongoing review and accuracy of environmental databases.

• 3–5 years post-graduate experience in environmental compliance or related field.
• Previous experience in environmental compliance within the mining/resources sector.
• Exposure to GIS and Borealis systems.
• On-site environmental experience (desirable).
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Permanent full-time role or contractor engagement (flexible depending on candidate preference).
