This role is suited to a proactive and capable Environment & Approvals Advisor to support environmental approvals and compliance across major development projects. This is a Perth based opportunity where you’ll be embedded in a high-performing environment team and work closely with project, stakeholder, and regulatory groups.

Reporting to the Environment & Approvals Lead, you’ll support the end-to-end delivery of environmental approvals and ensure compliance with relevant State and Federal legislation. You will play a hands-on role in managing environmental data systems, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and preparing key documentation that enables project progression.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support preparation and submission of environmental approvals under State and Commonwealth legislation
- Interpret survey findings and technical reports for integration into approval documents
- Collaborate with consultants, technical specialists, and internal teams to gather inputs and manage deliverables
- Liaise with Traditional Owners, government agencies, and regulatory stakeholders
- Maintain and enhance environmental data and compliance management systems
- Conduct environmental audits and track compliance actions and permit conditions
- Assist with preparation of annual reports, compliance documents, and management system updates
- Monitor environmental obligations register and manage permit renewals
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in approvals and compliance within mining, infrastructure, or major projects
- Working knowledge of WA and Commonwealth environmental legislation (EP Act, EPBC Act etc.)
- Strong capability in interpreting technical documents and approval conditions
- High attention to detail with experience using databases, Excel, and reporting tools
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Previous site-based or FIFO experience highly regarded
