About the role

  • Work scope: Expansion of an LNG train at a existing LNG onshore facility
  • 3/1 roster flying from Perth  (interstate candidates will be required to pay for their own flights)
  • As the Electrical Craft Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team and overseeing the work of craft professionals on the project.
  • You will manage daily activities, assign work schedules, coordinate subcontractor tasks, and support the growth and development of your team.
  • Your leadership will help ensure that craft personnel have the necessary tools to work efficiently and that all work is carried out in line with project guidelines, procedures, and site regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership and supervision for up to 50 craft personnel.
  • Plans and schedules daily work activities, and reviews progress and completed tasks for each craft team.
  • Assesses workforce needs and adjusts staffing levels as required.
  • Implements and coordinates area-specific operational plans.
  • Tracks and manages the use of tools and equipment on site.
  • Oversees the creation of Field Material Requisitions to ensure craftspeople have the necessary tools and consumables to maintain productivity.
  • Verifies that the most up-to-date design documents are being used and that all design changes are properly authorized before being carried out.
  • Ensures all assigned construction activities and subcontractor work are completed in accordance with specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Collaborates with Construction Field Engineers, Leading Hands, and Craft Professionals to interpret engineering drawings, vendor materials, and other technical documentation.
  • Leads coordination of engineering-related issues with Subcontractors, Foremen, and Craft Professionals to implement effective solutions.

Experience/Requirements
  • Requires a WA electrical license and 6–8 years of relevant supervisory experience in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Experience with permit preparation and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of temporary power systems, generators, and AS3012 standards.
  • Previous experience in the Oil and Gas sector is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage a direct-hire workforce; commercial awareness is essential.
  • Must have the right to work in Australia without employer sponsorship.
