About the role
- Work scope: Expansion of an LNG train at a existing LNG onshore facility
- 3/1 roster flying from Perth to Karratha (interstate candidates will be required to pay for their own flights)
- Serve as the Electrical Superintendent, overseeing a team of supervisors and craft professionals on the project.
- Direct day-to-day craft activities and manage work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinate tasks and deliverables with subcontractors and support the development of the team.
- Ensure all craft personnel have the necessary tools and resources to perform their work effectively.
- Maintain compliance with project policies, procedures, and site work rules.
- Monitor performance to ensure work is completed according to specifications, within schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and supervision within your discipline, either supporting craft professionals or overseeing a specific area or facility.
- Supervise and direct craft activities, subordinate superintendents, and other assigned personnel
- Plan and schedule work activities, and review the progress and quality of completed tasks
- Monitor the use and allocation of tools and equipment on-site.
- Oversee the preparation of Field Material Requisitions to ensure craft professionals have the necessary tools and consumables to maintain productivity.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, Leading Hands, and craft professionals to resolve engineering-related issues and implement practical solutions.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 10–13 years of relevant experience, or 14–17 years of applicable work experience without a degree.
- Background in large-scale LNG or similar construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with cable pulling operations.
- Proven experience in supervising and managing subcontractors and/or Direct Hire craft workforces.
- Strong understanding of applicable Australian standards.
