Contract Length: up to 12 months
Location: Belmont/client sites – remote and metro
Skills/Experience
- Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems for various projects
- Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and regulations
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations
- Provide technical write-ups, electrical drawing development and markups
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables efficiently
- Identify and implement innovative electrical engineering solutions
- Perform site inspections, testing, and commissioning as required
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the resource sector, infrastructure, or manufacturing industries
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical codes and safety standards
- Intermediate proficiency in electrical design software e.g. Electrical Transient and Analysis Program (ETAP), CablePro etc.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Intermediate proficiency in electrical design for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and instrumentation
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills

- Practical Site experience of electrical systems (commissioning and fault-finding experience)
