Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage electrical systems across a range of projects
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant Australian standards and safety regulations
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical analyses
- Prepare technical documentation, including electrical drawings and markups
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to meet project objectives
- Identify and implement innovative electrical engineering solutions
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities as required
- Provide mentoring and technical support to junior engineers and project personnel
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the resources, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors
- Sound knowledge of Australian electrical codes and industry safety standards
- Proficient in electrical design tools such as ETAP, CablePro, or similar
- Experience in PLC and instrumentation electrical design
- Competent user of Microsoft 365 suite
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- High attention to detail in technical documentation
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Practical site experience in commissioning and electrical system performance assessment
