Electrical Engineer
 
This role will join their Energy Transformation Services group working across the delivery of HV/LV & E&I engineering, installation, commissioning, testing and operations and maintenance services to various clients
 
This is a permanent role based in Subiaco.

Key Duties:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work to meet strict deadlines
• Commission electrical equipment on-site, ensuring optimal functionality and performance
• Identify and implement operational improvements and provide recommendations for procedure enhancements
• Ensure all equipment operates in line with specifications and design intent
• Develop and execute test procedures for system validation
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve faults or issues
• Collaborate closely with installation and project engineers
• Supervise engineering and technical personnel during commissioning and handover phases
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Deliver technical support to project teams and site personnel as needed
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of project-specific commissioning requirements as outlined in specifications and the commissioning plan
• Take ownership of the design, construction, testing/training, and warranty phases, including the final commissioning report
• Define project scope, develop work plans and schedules, and communicate them effectively to team members and department leads
• Conduct commissioning reviews during the construction documentation stage
• Evaluate and review technical drawings and equipment submittals
• Perform commissioning of electrical systems, including HV and MV substations
• Conduct testing of high-voltage equipment in accordance with safety and technical standards
• Review and approve calculated relay protection settings for newly installed systems
