Electrical Designer
About the Role:
Reporting to the Design Manager, this position prepares in-house FEED and detailed electrical design drawings supporting mineral sands infrastructure projects. Work collaboratively with a team of around 20 delivering fast-track designs.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Electrical systems and controls design
- Microstation proficiency
- SLD and schematic drafting
- Substation layout design
- Mineral sands project experience
- Prepare FEED and detailed design drawings
- Design control panels and electrical layouts
- Develop SLDs and schematics
- Review electrical components and specifications
- Support coordination across project teams
- Long-term contract stability
- Work with an experienced design team
- Exposure to diverse project scopes
