Electrical Designer

Location: Perth
Contract length: 12 months 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D designs including single line diagrams, schematics, and termination drawings
• Develop 2D layout drawings and general arrangements
• Create 3D models for substations, switchrooms, solar farms, and battery energy storage systems (BESS)
• Design 3D cable routing, including cable layouts, ladder systems, conduits, and underground services

• Proficient in MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer (2D & 3D)
• Experience in HV substation and renewable energy design highly regarded
• Strong background in primary 3D modelling of electrical infrastructure, including cable ladders, conduits, and equipment
• Previous experience in a similar design/drafting role
