An opportunity exists for an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning across a portfolio of wind, solar, BESS, substations and HV transmission infrastructure.
This is a senior role focused on providing structure, leadership and consistency across the full commissioning lifecycle — from early planning and readiness through energisation, testing and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning across multiple renewable and HV power assets
- Develop and drive a clear commissioning strategy and execution model
- Manage energisation, integrated testing and system handover
- Lead and coordinate site commissioning teams, OEMs and contractors
- Ensure commissioning requirements are embedded into engineering and project planning
- Provide safe and controlled integration of HV systems and control systems
- Improve consistency, documentation and handover outcomes across projects
- Strong commissioning leadership experience in renewables, HV power, substations or transmission
- Proven experience with energisation, integrated testing and start-up
- Solid understanding of SCADA, control systems and network interfaces
- Able to lead across multiple teams and stakeholders without direct authority
- Calm, decisive and comfortable operating in complex delivery environments
- Experience across wind, solar and BESS
- Substation and transmission commissioning experience
- Grid connection or compliance exposure
- Background in utilities, mining, power generation or large industrial projects
