Position Title:
Electrical Commissioning Engineer
About the Role:
Provide on-site electrical engineering and commissioning support from construction through to energisation and handover. Work closely with client and contractor teams to ensure compliance, safety, and technical accuracy.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Electrical commissioning experience (brownfield/greenfield)
- Strong QA/QC and inspection documentation skills
- Knowledge of Rio Tinto electrical standards
- Proven stakeholder coordination on site
- Australian work rights and valid driver’s licence
- Lead site commissioning activities
- Manage ITPs, loop checks, and QA records
- Review drawings and redline mark-ups
- Coordinate with contractors and client teams
- Ensure compliance and safety in all electrical works
- 12-month contract with Tier 1 exposure
- 8:6 FIFO roster
- Immediate start available
- Strong safety-first site culture
