We are seeking an experienced E&I Project Coordinator to support the delivery of sustaining capital and construction works within an operational environment. This is a long‑term FIFO opportunity on an 8:6 roster, offering consistent work on a technically complex project with multiple contractor interfaces.
This role is well suited to a hands‑on coordinator who can provide strong site leadership, manage contractors, and support safe, efficient construction execution through to commissioning.
The Role You will provide on‑site coordination and construction support across electrical and instrumentation scopes, working closely with construction leadership, project engineers, contractors, and operations teams. The role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, and contractor performance in a live operational or brownfields environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support site‑based delivery of electrical and instrumentation works
- Manage and interface with multiple contractors and site teams to ensure planned and fluent execution
- Support construction leadership and project engineers with site reporting across cost, schedule, quality, and safety
- Ensure site construction activities comply with HSEQ requirements and construction management systems
- Identify potential schedule risks and support realignment strategies
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities during project delivery
- Support QA/QC activities, including identification of deviations and verification of ITPs and inspection records
- Assist with compiling punch lists prior to commissioning
- Liaise with operations and contractors during pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities
- Verify contractor day sheets and timesheets
- Prepare daily site logs, handover reports, and attend site coordination meetings as required
- Proven experience coordinating construction works within E&I scopes
- Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills
- Experience working in brownfields or operational environments
- Exposure to multi‑discipline projects including electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, structural, civil, and earthworks
- Safety‑focused, organised, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced site environment
- Able to work collaboratively across project, construction, and operations teams
- 8:6 FIFO roster
