E&I Commissioning Site Supervisor 

Contract Length: 12 months 

Role responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage commissioning permits.
  • Perform site completion activities including:
    • Attendance at walkdowns (MC, RFC, RFSU, SHC)
    • Facilitate commissioning milestone handovers
    • Update commissioning status in CMS (FTRs, punchlists, workpack/milestone certificates)
    • Ensure commissioning documentation is correctly completed and signed off to enable progression of scope
    • Coach site personnel on commissioning activities onsite
    • Coach site personnel on the correct use of Orbit (Completions Management System)
  • Review and provide input to CCLBD development.
  • Perform onsite commissioning workpack reviews and provide feedback/assistance to workpack developers based on site requirements.
  • Assist with site resource mobilisations/demobilisations to execute the project commissioning requirements.
  • Provide input to commissioning schedules and drive commissioning scope to meet schedules.
  • Supervise commissioning activities on site including:
    • Hold morning pre-start meetings with commissioning technicians/vendors ensuring scope and safety requirements are fully discussed
    • Supervision of commissioning activities onsite and witnessing required sign-off points within commissioning workpacks
    • Supervise and assist Vendors/Third-Party Contractors to execute all aspects of the commissioning scope
    • Supervise and assist IC Contractor Commissioning Technicians to execute all aspects of the commissioning scope
    • Liaise with Operations team to effectively and safely execute commissioning activities
    • Provide technical assistance with fault finding and troubleshooting during commissioning and start-up activities
    • Ensure availability and compliance of test equipment required to execute commissioning activities
    • Provide input to daily/weekly/monthly commissioning reporting
    • Audit the construction team periodically to ensure compliance in equipment preservation with the project quality assurance program, leading to “clean and tight” construction
    • Liaise with site engineering and construction teams on redline mark-up (yellow copy) requirements
    • Support Perth engineering with surveys and engineering verification as required
What you’ll have
  • Strong interpersonal skills for managing and interfacing with personnel (UAJV, WEL & Vendors)
  • Flexibility to provide additional support in performing required site tasks depending on project requirements
  • Strong commitment to HSE, including robust awareness of process safety risks with commissioning activities within a live hydrocarbon facility
  • Knowledge of Electrical, Instrument, and Process systems and their interaction with other systems within a live operating facility
  • Ability to read BLDs, SLDs, P&IDs, Loop Diagrams, Schematics, and Termination Drawings is essential
  • Solid understanding of Permit to Work (ISSoW) processes and system tools
  • Aptitude for the completions/certification documentation process and ability to use Completions Management System
  • Competent IT skills necessary for the use of Microsoft Office software
